500 Lovemaking Tips

One of the biggest challenges couples in long-term relationships face is trying to keep their lovemaking red, hot and steamy. Early on in a relationship, the passion and newness of your lovemaking is always unforgettable; but, as that initial magic fades, it becomes harder to make things exciting again.

Everyone needs to check out the book, “500 Lovemaking Tips and Secrets”, by acclaimed author Michael Webb (the Oprah show’s love expert).

The book begins with a general foundation and understanding on lovemaking, briefly discussing topics like bedroom toys, adult films, the importance of romance for lovemaking, and interesting truths about Kama Sutra. It also contains a lubrication guide and 16 fully illustrated lovemaking positions in the back of the book. These are all nice touches, but the main attraction and bulk of the book is the 500+ tips.

I have to say, I really LOVE that you can open the book, pick a page and have between 8 - 10 easy-to-read tips ready to inspire or use right away. No need to read through dozens of long-winded paragraphs. Everything is formatted neatly and is very easy on the eyes. This is a big plus when you’re just about to make love spur-of-the-moment and you want some ideas.

So, what about the actual tips themselves?

This book is a treasure chest of ideas. It has 539 tips in total. They range from oral sex tips for both men and women, to games you can play to make foreplay more fun (although I would have loved to see more games). It also has tips to make intercourse feel better and unique, ways to surprise your partner like “coming out of the shower with just a towel and playing with your wife,” and even some cool places to make love that most people would never have thought of. While I didn’t find all the tips exciting (which was expected), I found more than enough that appealed to me.

The tips are all mixed together, which can get a little overwhelming. I recommend you skim through the book a few times rather than trying to read the whole thing in one sitting.  This book also lives up to its promise of not containing any raunchy, degrading, immoral or perverted ideas that so many lovemaking books seem to have.

In conclusion, while not all the tips in the book amazed me and I would have been nice to see some more ‘games’, it’s still THE most complete book of tips and ideas on improving lovemaking I’ve ever read. Nothing else comes close. All in all, I found it very enjoyable to read and use :) So if you want to make your lovemaking exciting again or even if you just want some tips for more pleasure, then I highly recommend this book for you.

300 Creative Dates

Making a great first impression is everything on the first few dates. And there’s no doubt that fun, creative and unique date ideas really help boost your points in the eyes of women. And if you’ve been together for years, dates help re-spark some life back into your relationship. But finding creative date ideas is the hard part!

Let’s give thanks to Michael Webb for his book, “300 Creative Dates“, and its offering of creative, unique and fun dates!

While there are 300 ideas in this book, you probably already guessed that you might not like or want to use all 300 of them. While many of the ideas are very creative, others are only a good reminder of places that everyone knows about but they either forgot or never realized that they’re such ideal places for a date.

Thankfully the, “I would-have-NEVER-thought-of-that-in-a-million-years!” ideas DO outweigh the date idea refreshers. This book will make you smile, laugh and inspire you to always find the adventure in whatever it is you’re doing.

It also has ‘dating coupons‘ you can give to your partner to redeem at a later date. Also, the book has a great section on dating disaster stories that will definitely show the guys what NEVER to do on dates.

So is the book perfect?  Not completely. While there are 300 ideas, you really can’t read more than 50-60 in one sitting before it gets tedious, and some descriptions are a little lengthy. However, pages 93-94 do have a nice list of bullets with ‘quick and to the point’ date ideas ready. No elaboration. If you’re in the need of a date idea fast, then you’ll love these pages. All in all, this is still a fantastic book that everyone should read.

Whether you want to impress that special someone on a first date, surprise them for a special anniversary or occasion, or just want to breathe new life into your relationship because it’s getting a little on the bland side, then grab this book now.

Spice Up Your Love Life All Around The House.

We all need to spice up our lovemaking at one time or another. In fact, it’s very important to the well being of your relationship! However, with so many lovemaking books out there, does Michael Webb’s latest addition to his lovemaking collection size up and stand out from the crowd? Let’s find out…

The Oprah expert’s latest book called “Sex All Around The House” takes a very different turn for ways to spice up your lovemaking. Rather than talking about positions, techniques and locations, this book focuses on how everyday household items – yes, the ones already laying around your house – can be used to spice things up.

On first glance, I was a little hesitant of the idea of using things from my house… I mean how many could there possibly be? Ice, oils, candles? Come on! However, I was actually surprised by the amount of unique and wonderful things you can use, and I quote, “to get your partner’s engine revving.”

Want to hear some more? Get frisky in a sleeping bag, fun and challenging! Wear nothing but an apron to cook a meal and surprise your partner – great turn-on, especially for men. Play a sexy game using an MP3 player where you each have an earpiece and have to make love without it falling out – including changing positions and giving oral – playable with or without sexy ‘penalties.’

There was even one about wearing earplugs! Everyone knows you can heighten sound and touch by blindfolding, but almost no one thinks about trying earplugs to block out sound from your steamy passion. Nice idea to heighten touch and visual sense and create a totally new experience.

I was also surprised to discover that some of these items can be used to make men last longer and even an item that makes some adventurous positions possible. Nice addition!

So as you can see, this book actually has some fantastic and exciting ideas you can use to spice up any lovemaking, no matter how fiery it already is. And best of all, because toys are so expensive, you’ll save lots of money (and lots of embarrassment) by using the items you already have around the house.

And were there any downsides? Yes. The book could have had a few more ideas, considering you won’t like all of them (no one will like all of them!) but there are definitely enough to keep me VERY happy.

All in all, “Sex Around The House“, is a great resource that you’ll wonder how you did without. Whether you want to add more fire, perform better in bed or just have more fun, you’ll find many tips and ideas to make it happen.

The Romantic’s Guide To Popping The Question.

Let’s face it, one of the biggest problems you face, when planning to pop the question, is finding a unique, creative and romantic way to do it.  Lucky for you, “The Romantic’s Guide To Popping The Question” provides you with quality stories, ideas and inspiration for an unforgettable marriage proposal.

First of all, the book contains 101 stories in total, and after reading just the first fifteen stories, I knew this is exactly what men need to make their proposal exceptional. I found myself leaning back in my chair, saying, “wow,” after reading many of the stories.

In fact, every time I thought they couldn’t get any more creative and imaginative, they did! Just wait till you read what everyone did with their cars and bodies in story #13, it was incredible! And the creative way a guy proposed in the cinema! And the horseback proposal “with a twist” that will totally blow you away!

Not to mention, this book also has the 25 WORST marriage proposals that will have you laughing your butt off! These were so enjoyable that I’ve been sharing them with friends ever since.

Now, the only problem I have with the book is that it makes other proposal stories (even half-decent ones) look terrible! I mean these stories are unheard of anywhere else. If you’re thinking of proposing or know someone who’s about to, then tell him or her about this book right now!

100 Games To Spice Up Your Relationship!

One of the biggest challenges in a long-term relationship is trying to keep things exciting in the bedroom. Whether it’s work, the kids or the other 1000 things you need to do, dedicating time to keep the fire burning in your sex life is often easier said than done.  Let’s face it, we all have busy lives. Therefore, it makes sense to find ideas that can be used again and again in your lovemaking repertoire.

Lo and behold: “100 Sex Games For Couples.” Sex games really are a great way to keep things fresh and original and often have a longer reusable value than most techniques and positions.

But does this book by Michael Webb really deliver? Let’s find out:

To begin, I really liked the introduction of the book and how it talked about intimacy being spiritual, emotional and physical. It really sets the tone for the whole book and emphasizes that these games are really about “making love,” not having sex.

So what about the games themselves? Actually, I was surprised to find there were only 33 sex games in the book. Instead, the other 67 games are variations of the original 33 games, changing the rules of the games to create different versions. While this was a little disappointing at first, after reading the book, I became quite excited to try many of the games myself. There is more than enough in there to keep things exciting for a long time. And of course, some games will keep you entertained longer than others.

However, on the flipside, you won’t find many of these games anywhere else. In that sense, they truly are original and unique. I was really pleased with the level of imagination and creativity when it comes to these games.

You’ll find exciting games such as: a guessing game (one of my personal favorites), a night of passion that starts elsewhere, a game where stories become your drive for pleasure, a card game with a twist, a great game to choose your bedroom clothing, and many others involving food, communicating, touching and sharing intimate moments.

All in all, the book is well worth the asking price, considering it could be the very thing that brings you closer together as a couple!

So the verdict? I LOVE it and I definitely recommend “100 Sex Games For Couples” to any couple that wants to bring back the fire and add that magic touch.

Blow by Blow, What Women Need To Know to Satisfy Their Man

January 10, 2009 by

Just so we all know, ALL men LOVE fellatio. Unfortunately, not all women know how to do it properly. Luckily, Michael Webb’s (The love expert on the Oprah show) latest edition, Blow By Blow, nails it right on the head (no pun intended) with all the information that women need to satisfy their man’s craving for oral delight.

After just reviewing a book on oral sex of the female variety (cunnilingus), I have to say I’m now a BIG believer in guides on oral pleasure. It really does take more work than just an up and down motion.

Okay, so while there are many interesting sections in this book including health and safety, diagrams and anatomy, shaving and waxing and visual stimulation, the REAL heart of the book is in the techniques section.

The book contained 15 techniques in total, which range from obvious all the way to techniques I’d never heard of before! Yes, there’s much more than just suck! And if you’ve ever wanted to know how to deep throat or ever felt too scared to try, you’ll appreciate this in the advanced techniques section, although it would have been nice if it went into a little more detail.

Also, I really enjoyed the section on “building anticipation” which helps men have a more powerful and satisfying orgasm. And it was nice to see that the whole trouble with “getting it up” problem was solved with some very impressive ideas too!

However, probably the best thing about the book was that the locations, positions and new sensations sections really help inspire you to come up with your own ideas and ways to spice up fellatio and keep it exciting because it’s almost always the same.

So were there any down points? Sure. I found many of the other sections a little tedious and a little boring. I mean, some were interesting, like the health and safety, but I often found myself sneaking a peak at the techniques section before coming back and reading it again properly.

Nevertheless, I still think Blow by Blow is a must read for women. So if you suspect that your man’s not enjoying oral pleasure much, you’re new to all this or a little scared, or even if you just want to give him an out of this world experience, then this book is perfect for you! Two big thumbs up!

Lick by Lick, a Guy’s Guide to Satisfying a Woman Orally

January 10, 2009 by

Did you know that for most women, cunnilingus (oral sex) is their preferred sexual act? But with over 6,000 nerve endings in the clitoris, you need to know exactly what you’re doing before poking your tongue around there, otherwise it could be really painful and, even worse, spoil the mood!

Luckily we have found a book, Lick-by-Lick, that provides all the details and techniques to satisfy your woman like there’s no tomorrow.

To be honest, at first glance I thought that a book about going down on women was silly! I mean, you just lick it and keep doing the ABC’s until climax, right? I constantly found myself skipping to the techniques section before quickly slapping myself in an attempt to read it properly BUT…

After reading the guide for a few minutes, I realized how clueless I was about giving women oral sex. And considering many studies mention that an estimated 50% of women fake orgasms, how would you ever know you’re doing it right?

After flicking through a few pages, I am now a believer and was pleasantly surprised by the in-depth detail woven into this book. It covered getting a woman comfortable with the act, persuasive suggestions to make her shave, safety precautions, positions, and yes, many basic and advanced techniques!

So after reading it, I’ve learned to appreciate some very important details and why we often can’t please our girlfriends and wives. The talk about romance, being relaxed and having a stress-free environment really hit home for me and made a lot of sense! (All things us guys tend to skip most of the time.)

All in all, Lick by Lick gives any guy the complete knowledge he needs to make any woman reach the big “O“. Two thumbs up from me!

50 Secrets To Blissful Relationships

January 10, 2009 by

I have people ask me all the time, “What is the secret to a happy and lasting relationship”?  And with the thousands and thousands of relationship books and marriage counselors available, you can probably have that question answered a thousand different ways.

Recently, I came across the book, “50 Secrets To Blissful Relationships“, and the author, Michael Webb (The Love Expert on the Oprah Show!) really nailed the answer to the above question.  Michael did a great job and wrote the book using his real life experiences and his day to day relationship challenges.

Also, unlike many other “relationship experts” and marriage counselors, Michael Webb walks the walk. Michael Webb has never had a fight with his wife of 15 years, Athena. Inside this book, you learn exactly what he’s done to make this a reality. Everything you read, he does or has done to improve his relationship, and that’s what I really wanted to see – experience and real-life practice.

The book itself is set about describing one tip per day and just continues like this until the end of the book. Just about every tip had me shaking my head in agreement, as it gave me real-life solutions and several of those “ah-ha” moments of profound understanding.

The only real down side of the book is that every tip is set out with the same formula: story or unrelated example, followed by how that example ties into relationships and that exact topic.

If you’re impatient or in a hurry, you can always start about halfway down and find out exactly what point he’s trying to make.

Also, instead of the tip titles providing a clear “how to solve X problem” or a clear topic description, it simply has a phrase that ties together with the information. Now while this is no big deal, it would have been nice to be able to skim the book to exactly the advice I wanted. Although if you read the information on the sales page, you can work out what information belongs where in the book. So it’s not too bad.

All in all, this is one of the best relationship books I’ve ever seen and it definitely deserves a read, especially if you have serious problems in your relationship.
